Reigning WTA Player of the Year Kim Clijsters spoke to the media about her chances in the upcoming Australian Open. She has a tough opening round match-up with former #1-ranked Dinara Safina, although you could also say Safina has a tough opening match against former #1 Clijsters. Clijsters is a 3-time Major winner, but they have all been US Open wins. Winning a different Major/Grand Slam (I’m giving in) would go a long way to adding to her already Hall of Fame level resume.
