Hall of Famer Karrie Webb, a 38-time winner on the LPGA and 52-time winner worldwide, was honored by the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation with the 2011 Christopher Reeve Spirit of Courage Award. Karrie donated $100,000 of her her winnings from the 2011 LPGA RR Donnelley Founders Cup to the Reeve Foundation. She is a longtime supporter of the Foundation. Webb’s coach, Kelvin Haller, is a quadriplegic.
“Karrie has experienced first-hand just how inspiring someone living with a spinal cord injury can be. With Kelvin by her side, Karrie has become one of the greatest golfers in history. But as remarkable as Karrie’s accomplishments on the golf course are, we believe that her greatest contributions have happened off the course.” – Alexandra Reeve Givens
