2011 Kraft Nabisco Championship winner Stacy Lewis leads at the halfway point of the 2012 Mobile Bay LPGA Classic. The four-time All-American at the University of Arkansas and 2007 NCAA Division I Champion fired a 6-birdie, 1 bogey 5-under 67 to hold a slim 1 shot lead at 9-under overall over Karin Sjodin, So Yeon Ryu, Lindsey Wright and Sydnee Michaels. It could have been more. Her approach on 13 just passed short of the hole. Instead of an eagle, she settled for a birdie. But more than that, after pushing to 10-under after the 17th hole, she bogeyed 18 to finish. Hopefully, she will focus on the scorching back 9 run she had birdying 10, 13, 15, 16 and 17 and forget finishing with bogey. However, sometimes players let a finishing bogey get under their skin. We will know early in her round Saturday whether she just let it go or not.
