Kim Clijsters and Laura Robson
Knowing Kim Clijsters as fans of hers like me think they know her, I can almost believe she had as much fun at the 2012 Wimbledon Kids Clinic as she did playing in the early rounds of the tournament. She retired early from the game and had a daughter. Now, even though she still could play more years, she wants to expand her family and will retire after the 2012 US Open. It’s been said that even before she gave birth to her daughter Jada, Kim always asked her friends about their kids. She’s joined here by rising British player Laura Robson. It’s terrific to reach out to the kids. I love seeing the look on their faces when they hit a shot. The smiles are wonderful.
