Andy Murray To Retain Alex Corretja As Coach Thru First Half Of 2011; Kei Nishikori Hires Brad Gilbert As Traveling Coach

Andy Murray of Great Britain will retain the services of Alex Corretja through the first half of 2011. Corretja has worked with Murray part-time since 2008 and as a full-time temporary coach since July of 2010. Murray won two tournaments in the second half of the year, the Rogers Cup and Shanghai Rolex Masters, defeating Roger Federer in both finals.

Kei Nishikori

Kei Nishikori of Japan has added Brad Gilbert as a travel coach to his IMG coaching team. Gilbert’s coaching resume is distinguished for his time working with Andre Agassi and Andy Roddick. Roddick’s greatest success came with Gilbert as his coach. Gilbert has also worked with Andy Murray.
