Novak Djokovic Still Perfect In 2011 After Defeating Rafael Nadal In Rome Final

One day after being taken to the brink of defeat in a marathon match against Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic showed no sign of fatigue in a 6-4 6-4 win over Rafael Nadal. No matter what Rafa tried, running Nole, prolonged rallies or looping shots, Djokovic was there with an answer. These days it’s almost like there are two Noles on the court.

Going into Roland Garros, Nole has to be considered the favorite. But a lot of things can happen over two weeks on clay in best of 5 set matches. Andy Murray has played both Nole and Rafa well on clay recently, dropping very tough matches. There are the clay court specialists to deal with, not to mention the increasing pressure on Nole that comes with each win and the questions of when the streak will end.
