2010 Turkish Airlines Ladies Open winner Melissa Reid is a star on the Ladies European Tour. Born in Derby, England, the 23-year old Reid was a standout amateur, winning the English Girls Championship (2004, 2005), British Amateur Strokeplay Championship (2007), the St. Rule Trophy (2007) and the Helen Holm Trophy (2006, 2007). She was also a member of Great Britain and Ireland’s Curtis Cup team. Upon turning pro, she won the 2008 Ladies European Tour Rookie of the Year.
