United States Soccer Women’s National Team Goalkeeper did indeed pose for the special ESPN “The Body” issue. Here is a cover shot. This special issue, which features professional athletes either nude or semi-nude, will go on sale 10.7.2011. However, the photos are meant to highlight the athletic aesthetic of the human body through images of world class athletes. I don’t believe, although some might disagree, that this issue is meant to be the Playboy issue of ESPN the Magazine.
