Don’t close the book on women’s golf in 2011 quite yet. The 2011 Omega Dubai Ladies Masters boasts some of golf’s best ladies fighting it out for top honors at the Emirates Golf Club.
I played pretty decent this year, but I haven’t putted well, so I’ve got a new putter this week, and obviously didn’t do well in India last week, but there were some weird circumstances there.
But you know, hopefully get out there and get off to a half decent start and build on that and try and get in contention for Saturday. – Laura Davies
I love this golf course. It’s so interesting. You kind of play this golf course, and it’s not like some courses where you have wedges every hole or it’s very long every hole. There’s a good combination; you have short holes, you have longer holes. You have holes you have to hit driver on, 3 woods, whatever. It just makes a really interesting golf course, and I played today, and the greens conditions are so magnificent. They’re so great. They’re better than last year, and last year was great, too. So it’s pretty cool to come back here and play, and the course is very fun. – Michelle Wie
Obviously I’m not really putting any pressure on myself. I’m quite aware of like the money list, and Caroline winning last week has definitely made it a battle this week, but I’m just here to win a golf tournament and to really focus on what I can control, which is my own game. – Melissa Reid
The following images are from various pre-tournament events (photo shoots, pro-am, etc). I am going to start with group photos because there are more of them, and then put individual photos at the end.
