Victoria Azarenka Receives Order of the Motherland From Belarus President

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has bestowed the Order of the Motherland on Belarusian tennis star, and new world #1 and Australian Open champion, Victoria Azarenka. Born in Minsk, Vika is first player from Belarus to win a Major singles crown and the first Belarusian to be ranked #1. President Lukashenko called Vika “the pride of the whole nation.”
