Midway Leader, Ai Miyazato
I know the third round of the 2012 LPGA Lotte Championship presented by J-Golf is already over, but I wanted to post a few quick thoughts about the tournament through the first two rounds. I was sick with a foodborne illness this week, so I haven’t felt well enough to post since Sunday until now. So just a few thoughts before moving on to post about round 3 tomorrow morning. So Yeon Ryu: looking like she might just run away with Rookie of the Year if somebody else doesn’t step up. Jiyai Shin: unabashedly rooting for her to end the winless drought. Cristie Kerr: also looking to end a drought. Brittany Lang: superb player, needs to get that breakthrough win. Michelle Wie: always a fan, so it’s tough to watch her suffer on the course right now. In-Kyung Kim: very impressed with her emotional bounce back from the Kraft Nabisco disaster. I will be rooting for her above all others (even my favorites like Se Ri Pak) until Inky wins her first Major. That’s it for now. The following pictures are from both Round 1 and Round 2, since I was too sick to post the last few days.
