It was a tremendous year for JLPGA veteran Mi-Jeong Jeon. The Korean star has always been a great player on the Japanese Tour, but reached new heights in 2012, winning Player of the Year. She won 4 events, which brings her career win mark on the JLPGA to an impressive 21 victories. She also led the tour money list and scoring average. She follows fellow South Korean Sun-Ju Ahn, who was back to back Player of the Year in 2010 and 2011. Congratulations to MJJ. I’ve been a fan of hers since I started following the JLPGA. As she has dedicated herself to the JLPGA, it is wonderful to see her cap her amazing career with a Player of the Year award, not to mention the money list and scoring average awards as well.
