Round 2 is already started so I’ll keep this brief…ummm, wow! I have to remind myself it’s only the first round but still, Lydia Ko is awesome! The precocious 15-year old amateur is coming off a win at the 2013 ISPS Handa New Zealand Women’s Open last week and looks like she wants to add the 2013 ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open to her trophy case. Ko finished the 1st round with a 1 stroke lead at 10-under. OK, I know…long way to go…lots can happen. Still, Lydia is redefining what is possible for a 15-year old going up against the best professional players in women’s golf.
