The bad news for LPGA fans is that the first round of the 2013 Wegmans LPGA Championship was washed out. I guess if you try really, really, really hard to tell yourself there is good news, one could rationalize that 36 holes on Sunday means an all-day Major tournament celebration for die-hard tour fans. I am a little nervous about talk of more rain on Friday. More and more, I get the feeling we might see a champion crowned on Monday.

Looking forward to the threesome that includes Brittany Lincicome and Morgan Pressel obviously (two of my favorites.) Funny to see her out practicing her putting in the rain a bit – with good buddy Stacey Lewis nearby. I guess no time for fishing at a major! To me the most interesting threesome will be Michelle Wie, Lydia Ko, and Ariya Jutanugarn.
