Talk about high winds, course conditions and featured pairings took a backseat for a few hours as the ladies of the LPGA stepped out in style at the 2013 Sunrise LPGA Taiwan Championship Gala Party. Black was definitely in abundance in the outfits the players wore. Everybody looked beautiful. Clearly these women can turn heads on the course with their great play and on the red carpet with their fashion sense.
But…since this is a post about the tournament as well, I should highlight the three featured pairings. Hometown hero Yani Tseng will go out with Paula Creamer and Hee Young Park. They will be followed by defending champion Suzann Pettersen, who is paired with Lexi Thompson and Ai Miyazato. Right behind them will be Na Yeon Choi, Michelle Wie and Catriona Matthew. Any one of those 9 could make a lot of noise this week. Heck, all 9 of them could have great tournaments. I can’t wait to see if one among them will be holding the trophy on Sunday.
