Beatriz Recari is one of the shining stars of women’s golf. She won her first tournament as a pro, the 2009 Finnair Open on the Ladies European Tour. Since then, the Pamplona, Spain native has gone on to become a winner on the LPGA, capturing titles at the 2010 CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge, the 2013 Kia Classic and 2013 Marathon Classic. Her two wins in 2013 helped boost her to #8 on the LPGA Money List last year. She was also top 20 in scoring with a career best 70.87 average. Recari especially excels with her putter, finishing 2013 in the top 10 in putts per greens in regulation and putting average. If there is one area to focus on in 2014, it would be Major results. She has one lone top 10 in a Major, the 2013 Evian Championship. Beatriz not only has the talent to record multiple top 10 Major finishes, but also one day win a Major. The good folks at Golfing World sat down with the top ranked Spanish woman in the world for a personal interview. And believe me, they nailed it! 🙂
