Michelle Wie
Michelle Wie is having a terrific 2014 LPGA season. Coming into the US Women’s Open, she is 2nd on the money list, in scoring average, greens in regulation and the Race to the CME Globe. Michelle is also 3rd in top 10 percentage and Rolex Player of the Year. In April, Wie won the LPGA Lotte Championship in Hawaii. Will she continue her superb 2014 playing form at Pinehurst? I think it would be a boon for the tour this weekend if she were in contention. In the following video, she talks about the course, the unique back to back Major format this year and a few words about Lucy Li.
Among the most talked about topics coming into the Open is the aforementioned 11-year old Lucy Li. She is the youngest ever qualifier. In all honesty, I would be surprised if she were in contention this weekend. She’s very good but I think it would be an enormous accomplishment just to make the cut. I’d love to be wrong about that, but I also feel the need to be realistic. That said, I wish her nothing but the best this week and I hope she has an opportunity to just take a few moments here and there to soak up the experience, to be proud of what she’s already accomplished.

Can’t wait, hoping of course for Stacy Razorback…:)
Stacy is a threat to win every time she steps on course. I have no doubt she will be in contention on Sunday.
