As one of my favorite players, it was truly a pleasure and joy to see the success Michelle Wie had in 2014, the highlight being her first Major, the 2014 United States Women’s Open. She hasn’t quite hit her stride yet in 2015, but I think that’s just a matter of time. Hey, why not this week at the 2015 JTBC LPGA Founders Cup? As the tour comes stateside for an extended period of time, Michelle is among the stories possibly unfolding this week. Will this be the week Cheyenne Woods takes the next step in her development? Will Lydia Ko continue her precocious ways? But while we celebrate youth in the person of Ko, let’s not forget the Hall of Fame veteran who is the defending champion, the living legend Karrie Webb.
