Although a promo for Nike, this video focuses more on female empowerment through sports. It stars Joan Benoit Samuelson (running), Diana Taurasi (basketball), Lisa Leslie (basketball) and Marlen Esparza (boxing). It’s especially poignant for me to listen to how Joan and Lisa were shunned by their male counterparts early in their athletic lives.
